When making your booking it is implied and accepted that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
1. Payment Details
All prices are exempt of VAT.
A booking is reserved by Dringo Adventure receiving a completed booking form and a non-refundable deposit of £75 for every person named in the booking. The contract shall be formed when Dringo Adventure acknowledges acceptance of the customer’s booking form and payment.
The balance of the holiday price must be received no later than two calendar months before the holiday start date. If the balance is not received in accordance with the above, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled, to re-let the holiday and retain the deposit paid.
Payment of the holiday in full is required for any course booked less than two calendar months before the start date.
Fees are payable by online payment via paypal, by cheque or by bank transfer to Dringo Adventure.
All customers are strongly advised to take out adequate insurance cover against cancellation and curtailment of their holiday, and accident and personal injury.
For overseas holidays and courses full travel insurance is essential and a photocopy of your policy must be sent to our office by the final payment date. This insurance needs to cover the activities that you will be undertaking on the overseas holiday / course.
Please see our advice on insurance for further details, including insurance policies available.
3. Travel Arrangements
Where you have to make your own way to the holiday destination we accept no liability for costs you incur for the travel arrangements you make (e.g. by coach, rail or plane) should we change the holiday in any way or cancel it within the terms of our booking conditions (see section 5). Therefore we strongly recommend that you do not finalise any travel arrangements before you have checked with us and especially not earlier than 3 weeks before your intended date of travel.
4. Cancellation by the customer
All cancellations must be in writing and sent either by post or email. The date of cancellation shall be the date we receive this communication. Your personal insurance may provide cover against certain unavoidable cancellation.
If you cancel up to 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, you only lose your deposit.
If you cancel less than 8 weeks but more than 3 weeks before the start of your holiday you will be charged 75% of the total holiday price.
If you cancel less than 3 weeks before the start of your holiday you will be charged 100% of the total holiday price.
Bookings may be transferred to an alternative holiday up to 8 weeks prior to the start of your original holiday start date. This is subject to holiday availability and a £15 administration fee.
Please note: Cancellations cannot be accepted by telephone.
5. Changes by Dringo Adventure
Every attempt will be made to ensure your holiday runs as arranged. However, Dringo Adventure reserves the right at any time to substitute alternative accommodation or make any other alterations to holiday arrangements, which become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. Where this involves additional expenditure such charges must be borne by you, or if the increased charges are not acceptable a full and prompt refund will be given.
In the event of Dringo Adventure unavoidably cancelling a holiday, for example due to insufficient demand or cancellation by customer(s), we will undertake to notify you not less than 5 days before the start of the holiday and we will offer you the following options:
a full refund of the monies paid or
a transfer of the money paid to an alternative and comparable holiday on the same date or a different set of dates.
