About the Break
With cheap flights, beautiful weather and great rock Sardinia is the venue for our Autumn rock climbing break which offers you an adventure you’ll never forget.
Situated in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, Sardinia is a prime destination for Italian tourists during the hot summers. In winter it’s a magical place for walkers, climbers and mountain bikers looking for sunshine and activity.
We stay in Cala Gonone, a small seaside resort on the East coast of Sardinia offering impressive mountain scenery, beautiful sandy beaches, crystal clear seas and fantastic limestone cliffs and caves – it’s easy to see how it has become one of the top sun rock climbing venues in Europe.
There is a wide variety of sport and trad climbing across the grade range. If you’ve never climbed before, it’s a great place to learn. For those wanting to get to grips with leading on rock there are well protected bolted climbs in the lower grades, and numerous venues for developing your sport climbing and multipitch skills whilst under the expert tuition of British instructors.
