Guiding
Choose the date, choose the destination, choose what you want to do.

The benefits of our guiding service are flexibility and choice. Many of our customers choose private guiding to learn specific skills at their own pace or to climb a particular route or mountain, on dates to suit them.
Our fixed-date courses might provide some ideas for a private itinerary or why don’t you challenge us to come up with something completely new and original to suit you!
Prices: from £25 per person

For single-pitch climbing the maximum guiding ratio is 6 people per guide.
For a rocky mountain scramble or exposed ridges the maximum guiding ratio depends on the grade and type of route.

Here are some of our most popular guiding and private itineraries for ideas and inspiration:
The Snowdon Horseshoe
A spectacular 8-mile mountain walk and scramble that takes in four summits in one day, including the notoriously exposed knife-edge ridge of Crib Goch and Mount Snowdon.
A Snowdonia classic, the Horseshoe is one of the most popular mountain routes in the UK, although the sight of all that air beneath your feet means it’s definitely not for beginners.
The Welsh Munros
Demanding walking and scrambling to complete a traverse of Snowdonia’s 15 Munros - the peaks above 3000 ft (914.4 m).
This route crosses three mountain ranges, each separated by deep valleys: the Snowdon range, the Glyderau and the Carneddau. With over 10,000ft (3000m) of ascent, this is a route that demands a high level of fitness and determination.
